Covid-19 Update

To make good decisions - for your company, your employees and for yourself - you need up-to-date information. We would like to answer the most important questions about FRUIT LOGISTICA 2021 and the effects of COVID-19.

We keep our exhibitors informed of all planning steps and corona regulations with regular mailings.

Trade visitors and interested persons are welcome to subscribe our newsletter and you will automatically receive the latest information on FRUIT LOGISTICA 2022. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time. We won´t share your data.

Use the online stand registration for the next FRUIT LOGISTICA. It’s quite easy - simply fill out the webform online and send it directly by pushing the send button. Once we have received and checked your stand application, we will send you confirmation of receipt, along with additional information.

Free cancellation of the exhibition space will be possible until 15 November 2021.

You will receive our placement proposal early October 2021.

The registration deadline was 31.07.2021. However, the registration is still possible. In this case, stand placement will take place as soon as all regularly registered exhibitors have received a placement offer.

The media package includes the presentation in the Exhibition Guide (print) as well as on our online platform and in the app. The data from your stand application will be used as a basis for both entries.

You can check, update and complete your data on the digital platform. This data is also used for the Exhibition Guide.

You can enter and register any number of co-exhibitors individually in the online form. The co-exhibitor fee including the Media Package is EUR 99.

Complete stand packages include various equipment options and services in addition to finished wall elements. A complete stand does NOT include the stand rental. In order to accept a complete stand order from you, a stand registration is required.

Before confirmation of the placement proposal

As in previous years, you can still cancel your participation at any time prior to confirmation of our placement proposal, which we will submit to you in October 2021.

After confirmation of the placement proposal

According to § 5 of the FRUIT LOGISTICA Terms & Conditions free cancellation of exhibition space will be possible until 15 November 2021.

After this date, the cancellation fee will be 25% of the stand rental fee (§8 Messe Berlin General Terms and Conditions (PDF, 117.0 kB), provided that the stand space can be re-rented by us. If the stand space cannot be rented to another exhibitor, for example due to short notice of cancellation, 100% of the stand rent will be due as cancellation fee.

After you have confirmed your placement proposal in autumn, you will receive your confirmation of order and down payment invoice electronically by email approximately 3-4 weeks later. The down payment invoice includes the costs for the stand rental, Media Package and AUMA fee.

Therefore, it is important to specify an appropriate e-invoicing address in the registration form.

After the event, around March 2022, you will receive your final invoice. This invoice will contain all additional services that you ordered in advance in our BECO-Webshop or onsite in the Exhibitor Service.

The BECO-Webshop is your ordering platform for all products and services you need for the construction and dismantling of your stand. As a registered exhibitor, you can order any additional services online from October onwards. You will need your hall and stand number.

At FRUIT LOGISTICA 2022, a free basic Wi-Fi will be available for all trade visitors and exhibitors.

Can I use this free Wi-Fi for presentations?

No, the basic Wi-Fi is only suitable for simple internet applications and e-mail traffic.

Vaccination certificates or even daily tests make it possible to travel again, stay in hotels, visit restaurants and take part in trade fairs. Messe Berlin's event-related hygiene and safety concept provides additional security. The focus lies on the health and protection of our customers, guests and employees.

Within the framework of the hygiene and safety concept, each event is considered individually and the plan of measures is coordinated accordingly. Due to the unpredictability of developments regarding the coronavirus pandemic, these measures are subject to constant review and adjustments as required.

A detailed hygiene and safety concept for FRUIT LOGISTICA will be published on the website and sent to exhibitors just in time.

Our concept, consisting of 3 admission conditions, plays a decisive role in the hygiene and safety concept of FRUIT LOGISTICA.

Additionally, as of today, ticketing and voucher redemption will take place exclusively online. This ensures fast and contactless access to the exhibition grounds.

Already registered companies have received a participation offer for FRUIT LOGISTICA SPECIAL EDITION 2021 by email including all relevant information regarding the participation packages as well as the terms and conditions. As an exhibitor you will be asked to choose one of our three turn-key complete-stand options. Once you have chosen your package you will need to return the signed participation offer back to us by 20th November 2020.

The technical guidelines of Messe Berlin GmbH (PDF, 407.6 kB) continue to apply unchanged.

Certainly many exhibitors will use existing exhibition stands, but these can also be adapted to the changed requirements with simple measures. Here are a few tips for the exhibition stand:

  • Plan your stand generously (open space) so that a potential distance requirement will be guaranteed for activities on the stand. Avoid unnecessary bottlenecks.
  • Rooms closed at the top are not recommended. Rooms in which visitor traffic takes place should be designed so that there is sufficient air exchange. At least complete ventilation should be guaranteed.
  • Adequately dimensioned lounging and visiting areas should be planned.
  • Make seating areas and meeting rooms spacious.
  • We recommend providing hand disinfectants as well as disposable face masks on the exhibition stand.
  • Smooth, wipeable surfaces are easier to clean.

If we as the organizer cannot hold FRUIT LOGISTICA 2022 for reasons outside our own control, we will not charge our exhibitors for their stand rental. Messe Berlin cannot pay for any other services that you may have used apart from the stand rental.

As in previous years, you can revoke your participation at any time before confirmation of our placement offer, which we will submit to you in October 2021.

Additionally, even after your booth placement has been confirmed, you can still cancel your participation free of charge until 15 November 2021.

If you cancel your participation after 15 November 2021, you must inform us as soon as you have made this decision. This will give us the opportunity to find another company for your stand space. If we find another exhibiting company for your stand space, we will only charge 25% of the stand rental fee - as compensation for the additional costs. If we do not find another exhibiting company for your stand space, you will be obliged to pay the stand rental in full.

At all events, Messe Berlin guarantees immediate medical care by trained staff and appropriate on-site facilities. Please refer to the hall plan of the respective event for the exact location of the medical station.

If symptoms such as cough or fever occur before visiting the trade fair, we advise all participants, exhibitors, employees and service providers not to enter the exhibition grounds and to consult a doctor immediately.

Remember: Before visiting a medical support center, call and inform them about the suspicion of Covid-19.
