Hand cleansers are available in many locations on the exhibition grounds. Protect yourself and others by regularly cleansing your hands.

In view of the volatile developments surrounding the corona pandemic, Messe Berlin's hygiene and safety concept is continuously reviewed and adapted.

Exhibitors and visitors are obliged to observe the hygiene and safety measures issued by Messe Berlin for the event. Further information can also be found in the Messe Berlin FAQ for visitors and exhibitors.

At all events, Messe Berlin guarantees immediate medical care by trained staff and appropriate on-site facilities. Please refer to the hall plan of the respective event for the exact location of the medical station.

If symptoms such as cough or fever occur before visiting the trade fair, we advise all participants, exhibitors, employees and service providers not to enter the exhibition grounds and to consult a doctor immediately.

Remember: Before visiting a medical support center, call and inform them about the suspicion of COVID-19.

No, there are no testing facilities directly at the exhibition center. A current overview of test centers in Berlin can be found here: https://map.schnelltestportal.de/ (As an advanced search criterion, please select Digital Covid Certificate here).

Furthermore, wearing masks are compulsory on buses and trains as part of "general basic protection".

A list of approved vaccines can be found on the websites of Paul Ehrlich Institute and the EMA. Only vaccinations with these approved vaccines and in the prescribed amount are considered as fully vaccinations within the meaning of the German laws and regulations.

Until 31 March 2022: For the set-up period, only recovered, vaccinated or tested persons are allowed to work inside the exhibition halls (3G rule). This rule applies until the end of March in Berlin, as well as the obligation to wear a mouth-nose covering.

All persons must also register free of charge in advance for the set-up and dismantling periods via our ticketshop.

As in previous years, you can revoke your participation free of charge at any time before confirming our placement offer. Thereafter, item 8 of the General Terms and Conditions for Trade Fairs and Exhibitions of Messe Berlin GmbH will apply. Please inform us immediately if you wish to cancel your participation in FRUIT LOGISTICA. This will give us the opportunity to find another company for your stand space as quickly as possible.

Messe Berlin GmbH's Technical Guidelines continue to apply unchanged.

Here are a few tips for the booth:

  • Plan your trade show booth generously enough. Avoid unnecessary constrictions.
  • Top enclosed spaces are not recommended. Rooms where visitor traffic occurs should be designed to be open for adequate air exchange. At a minimum, full ventilation should be provided.
  • Plan for adequately sized lounging or visiting areas.
  • Generously design seating areas and meeting rooms.
  • We recommend providing hand disinfectants as well as disposable mouth masks at the exhibition stand.
  • Smooth wipeable surfaces are easier to clean.

Yes, there is no general ban on events at the stand. As the person responsible for the event at the stand, you are responsible for compliance with the applicable hygiene and safety measures.

There is no defined number, rather the exhibitor is responsible for ensuring compliance with the protective and hygiene measures to be observed on his stand area. Ensure your stand features ample open space. Avoid unnecessary constrictions and, if necessary, use alternative measures such as hygiene barriers.

No, there is no longer an obligation for contact tracking.

You can book stand cleaning as usual after registering as an exhibitor at BECO-Webshop. Additional cleaning services (e.g. disinfection) can also be commissioned in accordance with your individual requirements on the basis of an additional cost offer. In addition, you as an exhibitor should appoint a responsible employee who will act as the local contact person for compliance with hygiene and distance regulations.

Yes, however, the safety and hygiene regulations must be observed. In addition to the official requirements [SARS-CoV-2 Infection Protection Ordinance of the State of Berlin], the recommendations of the DEHOGA and the BGN publication "Supplement to the Risk Assessment for the Hospitality Industry" must also be observed.
