The most important European markets at a glance

The ninth edition of the European Statistics Handbook focuses on current developments in the fruit and vegetable markets in Europe. The main focus is on production volumes and international trade in goods. For the first time, this year's edition includes data on Turkey.

In 2025, large parts of Europe were once again affected by extreme weather conditions. Spring frosts, summer droughts and heavy rainfall, among other things, affected supply and thus the markets.
