FRUIT LOGISTICA Innovation Award 2026
For two decades, the FRUIT LOGISTICA Innovation Award (FLIA) has been recognizing outstanding innovations across the entire fruit and vegetable supply chain – from production to the point of sale. The winners of the FLIA not only receive an award, but also international visibility in the industry, in the media and among trade visitors from all over the world.
The most prestigious international award in the fresh produce business
At FRUIT LOGISTICA 2026 in Berlin, the FLIA was presented for the twentieth time by Messe Berlin GmbH and Fruitnet Media International GmbH. The award recognises outstanding innovations in two categories:
- Fresh Produce: New products, varieties or concepts in the field of fresh fruit and vegetables
- Technology: Technical processes, services or systems that move the industry forward

Category "Fresh Produce"
POMPUR - the world’s first ECARF-certified allergy-friendly apple brand - from ZIN (Züchtungsinitiative Niederelbe GmbH & Co. KG) in Germany made the biggest impression on trade visitors at FRUIT LOGISTICA 2026.
Category "Technology"
The L50 DRONE— Europe's first lidar-based agricultural spraying drone with a capacity of 50 liters — from ABZ Innovation Ltd. in Hungary won the FRUIT LOGISTICA Innovation Award 2026 in the “Technology” category.
The selection process
Jury nomination: An independent jury of experts reviewed all submitted applications and nominated the most impressive innovations in the categories “Fresh Produce” and “Technology.” The nominees were announced in January 2026.
Live voting during the event: All nominated innovations were presented in a special area at FRUIT LOGISTICA 2026. Trade visitors at the show could vote for their favorites.
Award ceremony: The innovations with the most votes was honored with the FRUIT LOGISTICA Innovation Award 2026 in the categories “Fresh Produce” and “Technology” on the last day of the trade show.
