BIOMETiC: Smart planning aid for co-operatives

Using AI and stereoscopic imaging, co-operatives can quickly assess fruit size on arrival. The system accurately gauges the diameter of fruit in the top layer of the crates which a tractor is carrying while it briefly stops on the scales. The resultant data provides an accurate estimate of the size distribution of the fruit and makes storage planning and organisation more efficient. Depending on the size of the fruit, the crates are put into cold storage. Thanks to Q Eye Stereo, co-operatives know exactly where each size of fruit is located, enabling them to quickly and efficiently process wholesale orders.
